Code of Conduct
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate language, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Non sponsor participants shall not utilize the conference networking and communication platforms to promote events and companies outside of and unrelated to those connected to the event.
Speakers and sponsors participating in presentations, virtual trade show booths, and related chats are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, partners should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Staff, including volunteers, should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment. Sponsors shall use discretion when attending a session presented by a competitor’s company. Sponsors shall not attend a competitor’s session with ill intent, aggressive or soliciting behaviors.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Warnings may be issued, or participants may be asked to leave, and sponsorships may be terminated without the option for a refund at the sole discretion of the conference organizers.
Be careful in the words that you choose. Remember that sexist, racist, ableist, and other exclusionary jokes can be offensive to those around you. Excessive swearing and offensive jokes are not appropriate for STN.
If a participant engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns during STN, please contact the STN team or STN employee. They can either directly help or contact another STN representative who can.
If the matter is especially urgent, please contact any of these individuals:
Tony Corpin, President & Publisher, firstname.lastname@example.org
Ryan Gray, Chief Content Officer, email@example.com
Alice Sabedra, Event Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org
STN staff will be happy to help participants who are experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

Any attendee, registrant, exhibitor, service provider or staff person hereby grants full and complete permission and reproduction rights forever, and to hold harmless forever, in any format, viewable, published or distributed anywhere in any manner, at any time, now or in the future, to STN Media and/or its successors, representatives or assignees, to use, print, tape, digitally collect, record, store or transmit their image(s), in whole or in part, altered or not, with or without attribution, in any kind of materials, printed, stored, or used online or electronically transmitted or posted at a website, without any compensation or payment of any type, without further permission or limit.
This blanket permission to be photographed, digitally imaged, collected, recorded, distributed or transmitted, is activated when you pay for and complete your registration or exhibition form or process, or attend any event or activity that is part of this conference, or associated to this conference and its events, and STN Media. In addition, your name, title, identity or location may be revealed in descriptive text or comments in connection with any images, which become the sole property, permanently, of STN Media. If you do not wish to be photographed, we strongly advise you not to attend this conference or any of its associated events or locations.
